SENIOR MINISTER

Who We Are

Emmanuel Church is a growing, family-based, and community-minded fellowship in the seaside town of Fleetwood. We are a Christ-centered missional community with a passion for loving people and transforming lives. Our heart is to be a place where people of all ages Belong as family, Encounter the living God, Grow in faith, and Go in mission. Established in 1933, 12 years ago we took over a former Methodist church due to our expanding congregation. We are currently renovating the building to create a flexible, user-friendly space for our multicultural community.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a servant-hearted, authentic Senior Minister whose ministry flows from a vibrant, personal relationship with God. You will lead our staff, deliver biblically grounded preaching, and act as a visible ambassador for Emmanuel in the wider community.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Lead with Vision: Discern the “next season” for Emmanuel and collaboratively, develop strategic growth.
• Equip the Body: Passionately believe in “every-member-ministry,” empowering others to use their spiritual and practical gifts.
• Shepherd with Heart: Be strongly committed to fostering a culture of discipleship and pastoral care, particularly through overseeing our Life Group network.
• Inspire Mission: Lead, inspire, and equip every member to build meaningful relationships where they live, work, and play, and so expand our missional heartbeat.
  

Salary: £42,000 per annum and pension contributions

Location: Fleetwood, Lancashire

Hours: 40 hours per week
